  The Browning patented Gear 'Triever System provides quick, easy access and security for the things you use most during a day afield. The lightweight Gear 'Triever securely attaches to a loop sewn inside the pocket of compatible Browning parkes. the spring-loaded cable keeps valuable items like game calls, GPS systems, two-way radios and binoculars inside the pockets of the parka, safe from the elements, loss and damage. When you need an item, pull it out of your pocket. When you are finished with it, the Gear 'Triever returns the item to your pocket. The Gear 'Triever is sold separately from the parka.

  Gore-Tex fabric is both waterproof and water repellant due to the Gore-Tex membrane and to the exclusive durable water repellent finish (DWR) applied to the face fabric. Gore-Tex fabric withstands minimum water entry pressure of 65 p.s.i. and water still beads on the surface of the face fabric after many launderings.

  Hydro-Fleece, the name hunters have known and trusted for waterproof/breathable protection for years, has been totally redesigned and reengineered for 2007. New Hydro-Fleece A.T. (Advanced Technology) assures the highest degree of performance possible using advanced technology not available previously. Here’s what has changed:

• New pocket designs on most models
• Selectweight™ insulation places different weights of insulation in various parts of the garment for maximum performance
• OdorSmart™ Antimicrobial/moisture wicking lining fabric keeps hunters dry and odor free

In addition to all of the above NEW features, traditional features like double needle construction, barrier strips between the outside shell and linings, hook and loop closures, YKK® zippers, license tabs, detachable three-piece hoods and drawcords that adjust from inside the pockets are all still here. Competitors call these “special features.” Browning calls them “standard equipment.”
Finally, Hydro-Fleece features Gore-Tex® waterprooof and breathable fabric. Only Gore-Tex® offers the famous “Guaranteed To Keep You Dry” warranty. Every garment must meet W.L. Gore’s stringent standards for design and construction.

  Browning Hydro-Fleece is available with Scent-Lok®, the #1 odor elimination system in the industry. However, Hydro-Fleece garments featuring Scent-Lok are not identical to those in the new Hydro-Fleece A.T. line. Instead, Scent-Lok models satisfy the needs of hunters with classic Hydro-Fleece fabric that incorporates a proven Gore-Tex® laminate for waterproof, windproof, breathable performance, large bellows pockets that feature the Pocket Expander System, and a Gear ‘Triever™ pocket located on the chest.
