Comfort Zone

TDT® (Triple Density Technology)
TDT allows injection-molded footwear to have three distinct compounds merged in each boot. Now compounds for wear and traction can be balanced with compounds for specific chemical resistance to create boots that are tougher, safer and more reliable in harsh environments. This 3-stage molded construction offers seamless, 100% waterproof comfort.
Ozone Resistant Rubber
Ozone is a necessary part of our atmosphere. Is is also a leading cause of deterioration and cracking in rubber products. Northerner footwear is not only made in the U.S.A., it is also protected from ozone deterioration through a special chemical process. The process assures, maximum protection and extents the life of your boots. Over time, you will notice that your boots darken. This is your guarantee that the protective process is working and adding life to your boots.

For over 80 years, Norcross Safety Products (NSP) rubber manufacturing facility in Rock Island, Illinois, has produced high quality rubber protective footwear, hand-crafted with pride by American hands on American soil. In fact, the NSP rubber plant is the only remaining producer of rubber protective footwear in the United States, and the Northerner brand is a large part of that made in America tradition.
